Data Deletion Instructions

TimeInvoice stores all your business data (projects, tasks, invoices, time entries, clients) locally on your device. No personal business data is stored on our servers. You have full control over your data at all times.

1 How to Delete Your Data

There are four ways to delete your data from the TimeInvoice app:

Delete All Data from App Settings Recommended

Use the built-in data deletion feature to erase all your data at once:

  1. Open the TimeInvoice app
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Tap "Delete All Data"
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted
Warning: This action permanently deletes all projects, tasks, invoices, time entries, clients, and user preferences from the app. This cannot be undone.

Delete Individual Items Within the App

You can selectively delete specific items directly within the app:

  1. Open the TimeInvoice app
  2. Navigate to the item you want to delete (project, task, invoice, or client)
  3. Tap the delete option to remove the item
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Clear All App Data via Device Settings

To delete all data stored by the app using Android system settings:

  1. Open your device Settings
  2. Go to Apps (or Applications)
  3. Find and tap TimeInvoice
  4. Tap Storage & cache
  5. Tap Clear storage (or Clear data)
  6. Confirm the action

This removes all locally stored data including the Room database and SharedPreferences.

Uninstall the App

Uninstalling TimeInvoice will permanently remove all locally stored data:

  1. Long-press the TimeInvoice app icon on your home screen
  2. Select Uninstall
  3. Confirm the uninstallation

2 What Data Is Deleted

Analytics data (anonymized) Firebase servers Automatically after 14 months
Crash reports Firebase servers Automatically after 90 days

3 Request Data Deletion via Email

If you need assistance deleting your data, have questions about what data is stored, or want to request deletion of analytics and crash data from Firebase servers, contact us:

Send us an email with the subject "Data Deletion Request"

We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request.

Note: Since your business data is stored exclusively on your device, we do not have access to it and cannot delete it remotely. The options above allow you to delete your data directly. For analytics and crash data stored on Firebase servers, you may request deletion by contacting us via email.
